Port Elgin Flea Market
Wednesdays ~ 9 A.M. til 4 P.M. ~ June 27 til August 29, 2007
Rain or Shine behind “THE STATION” on the beach
Every Wednesday during the summer season, the Port Elgin Flea Market entertains 3,500 people at the open air Flea Market at the beach! Located just behind THE STATION, admission is only 25 cents ~ children under 12 free. Parking is available!
You will find a wide range of goods to amuse and amaze you! Between 70 and 100 vendors bring their arts, crafts, books, antiques, jewellery, collectables, home baking, produce, house wares, clothing, toys, shoes, music, tools… something for every member of the family...
Run by the Tourist Association, proceeds from the Market go towards beach improvements like playground equipment, sun shades, benches, lights and picnic tables as well as promoting our wonderful town.
We invite you to come and enjoy our Flea Market, swim at our beach, ride the miniature steam train, play mini golf, eat at The Station or one of the other restaurants on the beach. Please, though, don’t feed the sea gulls.
Every Wednesday is SHOP PORT ELGIN Day
After the beach, you can go up town and browse through our many boutiques and shops. What about taking the family for a meal in one of our restaurants?
If Port Elgin has captured your heart they way we think it will, book a night in one of our motels. Stay a day, stay longer. You’ll need the time to enjoy everything Port Elgin has to offer!
